Roger Ng
Principal

Roger first started trading under the business name ‘Roger C.H. Ng’ in 1968 as a part-time venture whilst working for Kennedy, McLaughlin & Ward.  Excellent growth in his business saw Roger start his own full-time practice in 1976 under ‘Roger C.H. Ng & Co’. 
Roger completed his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Queensland in 1964.  He has over 40 years experience in Accounting and, as Principal Accountant, continues to service clients in the area of Tax Planning, Advice and Business Management. 
Roger is a Professional Fellow of the National Institute of Accountants and is a Fellow of the Institute of Management. His previous fellowships and memberships include:

• Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants; 
• Associate in Accountancy, University of Queensland; 
• Fellow of the Australian Society of Accountants; and 
• Certified Practicing Accountant.

Roger is also fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay and other Chinese dialects which have provided him with the opportunity to expand his client base internationally.

Throughout his career, Roger has been actively involved in the community and has acted as a Honorary Auditor of The Chinese Business and Professional Association of Queensland and has provided his services to following organisations:

• The Asian Australian Action Committee; 
• The Australia-China Friendship Society of Queensland; 
• The United Nations Association of Australia (Queensland Division); 
• The Queensland Committee for the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund; 
• The National Party of Australia – Brisbane Asian Branch; 
• St. Catherine Anglican Church of Australia; and 
• International City Church

Karen Ng
Senior Associate and Business Coach

Karen’s extensive experience as an accountant and auditor has given her great insight into the key drivers of success in businesses of all sizes.  Over ten years experience in this sector has equipped Karen to know intrinsically what works and what doesn’t in terms of realising your business goals. 
Since 2002 Karen has worked alongside her family at Roger Ng & Co and has relished the opportunity to develop the business into a thriving 21st century Accounting Services and Business Advisory firm.  Partnering with 10x in 2008 is the most significant move Karen has instigated in order for her clients to thrive, not just survive, in their businesses. 

Along with her pivotal role in the family business, Karen is married and mother to three-year old Keziah, as well as being very active member of her community.  This means that as a coach she can empathise with the demands that business leaders have on their time and energy as they balance entrepreneurial drive and other priorities. 

In the time Karen has worked with businesses, she recognised the need for a more proactive approach:

‘The majority of accounting practices do a disservice to their business clients by only providing them with basic compliance work.  This puts them in no position to support their clients in improving key drivers of business performance such as cashflow management and profit.  This is why at Roger Ng & Co we are committed to a proactive approach whereby we consult with and advise our clients throughout the year to ensure they are moving towards achieving the objectives they have for their business.’

Tina Tong
Business Manager

Tina commenced her employment with Roger Ng & Co in February 2009.

Tina is the Business Manager at Roger Ng & Co. She is responsible for upholding the business’ core values and high standards of service, and ensuring that all budget and performance targets are met. Her role includes implementation and monitoring of the company’s policies and processes, managing the efficient and effective operations of the business, and processing and receipting client payments.  

Ronald Ng
Senior Accountant

Ronald commenced employment with Roger Ng & Co in July 2009.

Ronald is a Senior Accountant with the firm. He has an extensive auditing background and his responsibilities include preparation of Business Activity Statements, Financial Statements, Tax Returns, Audits and review of Graduate Accountants work.

 Lincoln Tatnall
Business Coach

Lincoln commenced work with Roger Ng & Co in January 2011.

Lincoln is the Business Coach for Roger Ng & Co and 10X Brisbane South. Lincoln has been working with small business owners for over 8 years and has worked with over 2500 individual entrepreneurs to help them to find smarter and faster ways to get EVEN BETTER results. He has access to a range of over 660 cost effective strategies to help you do exactly that. Everything Lincoln does is about helping business owners turn COMMON SENSE into COMMON PRACTICE.

Sara Berndt
Sales & Marketing Manager

Sara commenced work with Roger Ng & Co in January 2011.  

Sara does the marketing and sales for Roger Ng & Co and 10x Brisbane South. Her activities include preparing and marketing business seminars to business owners through various communication channels.
